As someone who has big goals and dreams and is also highly sensitive, this was a quote that my mom would repeat to me when I would get overwhelmed and think that I could not go on or achieve what I wanted to achieve. Back then and even now when I start doubting myself and what I can accomplish because it seems to be “too much”, I repeat this quote to re-ground myself and re-establish myself as someone who CAN be impactful to this world and make my (and others’) dreams come true.

Mom, I know I tell you all the time but I really would not be the person I am today without you. My entire life you have been an example of courage, integrity, unconditional love, selflessness, confidence, leadership and the true power of a woman who knows herself and her worth. Because of you, I know what it means to love myself, love others, live in gratitude, trust life and a Higher Power, take risks and truly create a life worth living.
