My mom always reminded me that life is short. Because of this, I've learned to appreciate everything around me. My mother has seen and experienced the glory and challenges of life. She taught me that at any moment everything can be taken away and change without any notice. Her experience during the Japanese occupation, Korean War & coming to America surviving and thriving even without the ability to communicate in English has taught me to be very resilient. She taught me how to survive in times of drastic and dramatic changes in life. I certainly have done that.
Everyday I always remind myself to be grateful even in the face of challenging circumstances. Because of her constant reminders, I have this distinct awareness that no matter how difficult my life gets, millions of people would still want what I have.
In business and in my personal life, I make sure that what I do creates value for myself and others and that I live as best as I can.

Thank you Mom for being a great role model. You are the woman I aspire to be - a wonderful, giving, nurturing and caring human being.
Thank you for guiding me all these years and for never giving up. I promise to let life play out moment by moment and appreciate it in all its glory. I promise not to waste life away because as you've taught me, we are on borrowed time. We may never have tomorrow.
You are my Rock Star! I love you MOM!!!
